Oh boy...

Time is always getting away from me. Here's a recap!

This is a group of way awesome librarians that were at ITEC this week. We had a great time connecting!

I won! I won a new Chromecast, which is nice since it's a new model than what I have. If I ever get a new TV in my bedroom, it'll be perfect in there since I cut my cable!

Fun hanging out with these people :)

Eric Sheninger was the keynote speaker on Tuesday. He spoke mostly about changing school culture and how much it impacts student achievement. He was awesome!

We maybe took this little picture before giving our presentation!

Speaking of which, I presented at ITEC for the first time! It's my 9th or so year attending, and I finally took the plunge to present.

Pacino and I had a lovely day together last Saturday before I left town for another 3 days. Poor guy has been all alone lately!

The book on the left is one that I wrote in 3rd grade. The one on the right is one that a few of my 3rd grade students made! Yay!

Game nights require UNO!

This lady is so great that she bought my coffee at the gas station last Wednesday!

I had to go watch the Cyclones beat Kansas. It's always good to beat them, plus it will potentially be the last game we win.

Enjoying the game with Dixie!

Dad and I got some ice cream on a Friday night. Starbucks is closing soon!

A little fun on a Sunday bike ride. Won't be too many nice enough days left, so we're putting the nice ones to use!

Busy Week, No Pictures....

Not a lot of pictures from this week, even though it was a super busy week!

Mama and I at Manly Drug in Grundy Center enjoying a cherry cola.

Me, Mr. John Schu, and Sarah Staudt--great librarian minds at a workshop this morning!

Been doing some extra stretching...trying to figure out my back issue!

And a few pretty pictures from my bike ride last weekend that I didn't post before!

Golf, etc!

Went on a little bike ride this evening...

I won the win award on hole 24 for the women's longest drive!

Beautiful day for golf!

Maybe not the best form, but not bad for my first time golfing.

We had "workout" day at work yesterday.

I couldn't resist buying holiday coffee creamer. Christmas is less than 100 days away!

This was my golf practice earlier this week...lots of grass.

2 Weeks Behind! Again!

School is in full swing now, and I'm busy all the time! Here's a two week update, in reverse order:

I wore all black to school yesterday, mourning the Iowa State loss. The kids cracked up about it!

It's okay to eat french fries with eggs, right?

Lostttt.....

With my Hawkeyes...

All was well until halftime when I took pictures with a bunch of Hawkeyes! It was fun running into Bailey though! Also saw Scott & Benjamin after the game briefly.

The view wasn't bad!

I might be obsessed with wearing face stickers like a 13 year old girl.

Friendly rivals!

Ran into Jill! It had been a long time!

At least I had a fellow Cyclone with us...even with his creepy mustache.

And this lady let us crash her tailgate! It's good having Cyclone friends at work!

Kaci & I had a "dress-off" every day last week. Cardinal/gold for me, black/gold for her.

The fourth grade teachers pranked all of us Cyclone fans...black and yellow streamers, plus all those signs. I quickly covered them up with Cyclone duct tape and red streamers to replace the black.

Frozen yogurt & peanut butter is my fav snack currently.

Went to a Kernels game on Labor Day! Great end to the summer.

Pacino promptly tipped this over right after this picture was taken.

Maxine always needs a belly rub!

Ben & I enjoyed the ISU/UNI game. I enjoyed it a bit more than him since the Cyclones won.

Planted all these succulents...hopefully they survive.

And some fun pictures from work last Friday. Having friendly rivalries makes it enjoyable!

Painting

I've had this huge canvas for about a year, and finally got around to painting it. I wanted it to match my new bedroom colors.

Start at the end...here's how it turned out.

What it looks like on the wall.

Circles!

I spray painted the background because it would've taken forever to paint it with a brush. I did this a few weeks ago and finally painted on top! I'm pretty please with how it turned out, but it does need a little touch-up.
