Haitus

It seems I've been on hiatus, though not on purpose. I celebrated my birthday, had a busy weekend at home and have played 3 nights of sand volleyball in the very cold sand. This post might have a lot of pictures...

Also, if you don't read my school blog, you should. There are cool things there.

I got way more birthday presents than I deserve. My desk at school looked like this all week. And so did my kitchen table at home. It would've taken me 4 posts just to talk about all the cool stuff people got for me!

I had a slight issue with losing keys last week. I left these in my mailbox (for about 2 minutes, until I couldn't get into the house.)

I also left them in my door one night...

Went to the Nevada senior center brunch last weekend. Was a fun time and great food!

Thought these placemats were cool.

The asparagus strata was delicious. And I'm a pretty picky eater. 

Life can't get any better than a cup of Starbucks, lemon-blackberry twist.

Don't make fun of my socks, but...these are the sand socks I got to wear at Volley's until it gets a little warmer. That sand is COLD right now. So, its ok to look dorky in order to feel your toes after an hour in there.

At one of my doctor's appointments this week I found out that WebMD has a magazine. I love WebMD. Maybe a little too much.

I tried out a new water: apple, honey, cinnamon. Heavenly.

Pacino and I have been fighting.
