Yes, I did take this whole suitcase for a 24 hour trip. I couldn't decide what to wear, so I had to pack lots of options. At the last minute I found a shirt I had to have bought early last Fall that still had the tags on it. (This is why I'm not buying any clothes until after my birthday.) Then, I ended up wearing that and didn't need the other 18 options I packed. One can never be too sure when meeting famous people.
Fancy toilet paper always cracks me up.
We are such grandmas: the guys working at the front desk at the hotel gave us free cookies & tea when we got there. They were the first of many helpful, kind people.
The menu at Gray's Tied House where we ate and watched the concert was intense.
We figured we had to do one Wisconsin-ish thing while we were there, so cheese curds were the easy choice. These things were melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
On the way back, we stopped in Mt. Horeb, WI which for some reason has a lot of trolls in their downtown. Naturally, we had to tromp through the snow to get some pictures. There were also a few gift shops that we stopped in. This sign was hilarious.
We also stopped at the cutest little tea shop in downtown Madison and got some seriously awesome tea.
I loved this little milk carton that was at the hotel for breakfast. It reminded me of being in elementary school. And, I even got it open on the first try!
We made a stop in at Trader Joe's to get some treats.

This was one of the gift shops. It was a little scary, and FULL of trolls and Norwegian things.
And here are all of my treats from the trip: two new teas, some specialty beers & a cherry cola, agave nectar, chocolate covered blueberries and cherries, and a bottle of honey.
And, finally, here is the picture that was taken by the radio station at the meet-and-greet.
