This is the kick-off to Spring Break ice cream cup! :)
And here's the best two days on my calendar yet this year. We've been off yesterday and today, and I'm making the most of the two days.
Yesterday we reserved the unconference room at the library and played a game called telestrations. It's kind of like telephone meets pictionary. It was really fun & there were lots of laughs at some of the drawings and guesses.
This is what everyone drew when the clue was "librarian."
Then we headed over to the Divergent movie premiere. We stood in line for 2 hours. Luckily, there were games and other activities.
These represented the 5 factions in the book/movie and the choosing bowls for the choosing ceremony.
There was also a fear wall, and a secret truth wall where people wrote their fears and truths.
This is a shot of everyone who was in line for the 8pm showing--it was sold out!
And here's our group. There were 17 teachers/students. It was a fun way to kick off Spring Break, even though the movie didn't quite live up to my expectations--the book is just so good.
And now, off to cheer for an ISU victory! (Wearing the same outfit, of course.)
