Fun in Philly

At Penn's landing, overlooking the Delaware River.

The four of us, Elena, Megan, Amy and I, after the food truck festival. We were sweaty and full!

Welcome sign.

Got this fancy America hat at the food fest. And it even says Wawa on it, which is the popular convenience store here.

Rice punch, which we drank after our meal at the Korean BBQ. This was my favorite part of the meal.

My food--sweet and sour pork and vegetables. It was tasty, but too much sauce for my liking.

A lot of the restaurants here are BYOB, which is strange to me. We brought this bottle of blueberry wine from the winery to dinner. After dinner, we rented a karaoke room and sang for a couple of hours. The pictures from the are mostly bad, and they are on my camera so you'll have to wait until I get back  to Iowa to see them. Then, we went to Rita's for gelati, which is one of my favorite things out here.

Overall, a successful weekend in Philly. Headed back there tomorrow, but undecided on what to do.
