Home!

Home from vacation! Had a great time, but it is nice to be back. I am thankful to have a life that I enjoy coming back to very much! 

This guy was totally missing me. To make it up to him, I spent the last two days at home, minus a trip to Target and a run. He has only had to go into time out once, which is pretty good!

I painted Splat the Cat for the library on Thursday. I can't decide if P likes Splat or his mouse friend, Seymour. Either way, I love the Splat the Cat books!

This was my supper last night. Fruit with a lime/spearmint glaze & a blueberry ale. I'm not crazy about the ale...I prefer the pear or apple.

A BLT makes the BEST lunch, especially in the summer.

I noticed the other day that my squirrel had a hole in his backside. Then, I noticed a wasp climbing into said hole. There has been a wasp flying around lately while I've been sitting outside reading and getting sun. So, today I got brave and took out the wasp spray. Soon, I noticed a wasp climbing in there, so I sprayed him. Turns out, there was more than one in there. I killed at least 9, and there were 2 still flying around when I decided to toss the Raid and run screaming and flailing into the house. I watched them from behind the glass door for awhile, trying to get up the courage to kill them, but I just couldn't. 

I'm going to need a new can of this stuff. Pretty sure it's almost empty after this afternoon.

I guess I should probably go get it, as it is still where I tossed it before bailing...sigh.
