Thursday Evenings

The last few nights I've had volleyball and it has been terribly hot. So tonight, I took advantage of NOT having to play around in the sand in 90 degree temperatures.

This is how I'm currently ending my night--a nice cup of tea. It's never too hot for tea. Blackberry/vanilla with peppermint is the choice of the night. I love, love, love my mint plants. They are still doing rather well, and my tomato plant has 20 baby tomatoes! Soon!

Went on a short bike ride through the neighborhood. 5.5 miles was about all my legs could handle tonight. 

Caught up on some laundry with help from this fella. He's so cute.

Ended the night with this view while reading and enjoying a drink from a mason jar on my deck. If only I had that hanging chair...I would've just slept outside! And, luckily I didn't spot any wasps, but I did get a new can of Raid just in case. 

Summer is lovely!
