Floor Plans & Birthdays

Here is an anticipated layout of my new library!

Reunited at the egg!

This was the appetizer stop on our restaurant hop. We went to Zepplin's for drinks, Lion's Bridge Brewery for appetizers, Butcher Block for dinner & White Star for dessert. We ended the night with some karaoke! It was a very fun way to celebrate Delaney's birthday.

These two are getting older this week! Do you think we look alike?

A fun week!

Last week included Nashville, a Kernel's game, and a Chris Tomlin concert! What a super fun week. Now, it's back to work, and I got quite the surprise when I got there--100's of boxes of books! Other than that, been a pretty average week.

Here's some snapshots:

Before the concert got started with Becki & Katie. I can't believe I've never gone a concert at the Jones County Fair until now...I will be going every summer from now on!

These are the boxes waiting for me...most of them still are, because I don't know what to do with them!

A few shots of Chris Tomlin. I can cross seeing him off my bucket list! Our 8th row seats were AMAZING!

When everyone had their phones out. So cool!

I enjoyed my first ever trip to the Kool Moo yesterday. Similar to Starbucks in Nevada, except its only ice cream and you can't go inside.

All of my stuffed animal book characters are at home right now, since they can't be at school. Pacino has taken to dragging them out of the hamper they're in. Apparently he needs a friend.

The amount that he loves the lint roller always cracks me up.

He isn't snuggly often, but I'll take what I can get.

Kool Moo.

Such a little prince.

Emily, Katie & I at the Kernel's game. ((I'm in love with my new ISU tank top, courtesy of Target.))

Emily, Katie, me, Becki & Allison. Allison wants everyone to know that her mouth was full of Double Bubble.

And here we are, busting up laughing. Too much fun!

Nashville

Here are a bunch of shots from our trip, in no particular order...

Going to the Opry was the first time I really geeked out. It was awesome to see a place where everyone who has ever been anyone in country music has been.

A picture of us with the Bobby Bones crew.

Us with Amy.

While Dustin Lynch was singing!

Our backstage Opry tour passes.

Photo op at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

We were the ONLY people to get our picture taken backstage with Craig Morgan. Lots of other people were taking our picture too!

A random stop in Metropolis, IL--where Superman is from! Everything here is Superman/woman themed--even the bathrooms.

At the Parthenon in Centennial Park. It is HUGE!

Laying down taking a break at the Parthenon.

Goofing.

Eating at a cute little old fashioned diner. Dr. Pepper with cherry grenadine and vanilla ice cream was SO good!

We went to the candy store THREE times. And spent wayyyy too much money.

I found Keith Urban!

And we of course spent some time lazing at the pool. My face was getting burnt, so I covered it up, which someone found amusing enough to snap a picture.

There are lots more pictures, but these are some of my favorites!

Bike Riding

I have lots of pictures from Nashville to share, but there are so many that it's going to take awhile to sort through them! Here's what I've been up to post-trip---biking!

We biked 15 miles up to Center Point to eat lunch at Joensy's. It was SO good! The 15 miles back didn't feel quite as good, however...

Me on the Troll Bridge.

This was on Thursday after our 23 mile ride...then turned around and went 30 today! My legs & butt will appreciate being off the bike for a few days.
