A rather boring update....

Apparently school has been very busy, all my pictures are of school the last few weeks! Here are the ones that aren't:

I've been sick the last few days...this is how Pacino and I have spent our time.

Doesn't my new coffee mug look just like Pacino?!

Finally got this window sign made. It's not perfect, but not bad for my first try.

My very small Christmas decor. The cat has so far only destroyed one bulb.

Cheesy brat stew is my fav.

My seats to watch the stupid Hawkeyes kill the Cyclones.

Watch a student's violin recital.

Found this canister to match my pitcher!

Apparently Pacino doesn't mind the new table! It's just his size!

The Table is Done!

Alright, I finally got my table done and moved inside.

The problem now is that my wall is too bare! I'm thinking about putting the window up that I bought at one of the junk jaunts.

The left is what it originally looked like...the top right what I first wanted it to look like, and the bottom is what it ended up like!

This video shows it's problems and progressions.

Next I think I'd like to buy a small bench for one side since there are only 3 chairs.

Bonus picture: someone has been chewing on the new shower curtain liner....

Bonus picture number two: at least that particular someone is pretty cute.

Oh Boy

Three weeks behind, again. My school blog was three weeks behind too...yikes! Here are a few of my favorites:

This is my table, as of two days ago. Yesterday, I painted red over the white patches in the middle. I wasn't brave enough to go look at it tonight. The antique glaze actually looks pretty good, but I didn't like how patchy it looked.

Pacino carried a handful of litter into the tub.

And threw up.

And uprooted a plant. Not sure which order he did it in, though.

I ate lunch next to Abe Lincoln at the library conference in Dubuque on Thursday. Weird things happen at librarian conferences, obviously.

I love the riverwalk in Dubuque. So pretty.

Miranda and I during the keynote speaker. He told everyone to take a selfie!

On Sunday night in Des Moines, I ended up playing on stage with The Nadas. I sang Sugarland, of course.

Me and Pernille Ripp. She's an amazing teacher!

Us librarians managed to have some fun on Monday night!

And Monday during the break at the conference!

Zombie Burger Monday night!

These lovely coworkers came in and sat right behind me at a session!

Again, on stage.

And again....we also ended up playing a trash can drumline, too. I'lll dig that video up the next time.

Prairie staff plus The Nadas.

A day of junking!

Went to see Sister Act at Theatre Cedar Rapids....not my favorite show I've seen there, but the others ones I've seen set the bar really high.

National Taco Day! I made a taco potato.

I got new glasses. And new sunglasses. I have a problem.

This coffee creamer solves all problems.

Some flood pictures from Edgewood and Ellis.

Filling sandbags!

Update!

Once again, most of the pictures on my phone recentlly are from school! Here's the few that weren't...

My favorite game & a glass of wine!

Pokemon hunting shadows!

We've all got our ISU shirts & our awesome glasses for the junk jaunt!

Cut 5 inches off my hair! Feels so much better!

Had Irish nachos at Mulligan's last week. They are one of my favorite treats!

Another one of my favorite treats is PB & pickles. All the people at school were freaking out about it!

Me & Pacino!

A view inside enemy territory.

Always have to get punked at school....just they wait until basketball season & I will get them back!

This is still in a state of disaster....

Dad playing with my VR headset. He traveled the world from my living room!

Mini donuts + sprinkles & frosting at the farmer's market!

Fun with some coworkers at the market!

My favorite treat. It's not really on the way to work, but sometimes on Friday's its okay to go out of the way...

Tammy got me this giant mug! It holds about 3.5 cups of coffee. I tend to use it on Wednesdays!
